CPA firm Anchin has named two individuals as partners. They are Erica Cohen and Marina Shah who both work in the audit practice. Cohen has served as audit director for real estate since joining the firm in November 2022. Prior to that, she spent slightly more than 12 years at accounting firm Friedman, where she was an audit manager and then audit principal. She serves clients in commercial and residential real estate, affordable housing projects, real estate development, real estate fund, and hospitality and service organizations.
Shah, who joined the firm in 2008 after graduating from Iona University, specializes in providing audit and tax services investment company structures, including domestic and offshore funds, funds of funds, master-feeder structures, venture capital, general partnerships and management companies.
