Bowman & Co. has named three staff members to the partner ship group this month. The New Jersey CPA firm promoted Kenneth M. Drewes, Michael Thilker and Josette Traversa.

Drewes joined the firm’s Governmental Services Department in 2009 with expertise in audits of county and municipal governments, school districts, charter schools, fire districts, and federal and state financial assistance programs.  He has also been certified by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer.

Working in the Commercial Services Department, Thilker has worked at Bowman since April 2013 and is a CPA in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His clients mainly include housing authorities and non-profit affordable housing organizations and his experience includes audits of non-profits.

Traversa came to Bowman in September 2022 after near four years at CPA firm Citrin Cooperman where she was director of international tax services from November 2018 and partner from October 2021 until she joined Bowman. Before that, she spent two-and-a-half years at D&H Global Tax Group.
