Dark Horse CPAs has promoted Brett Tester to principal, after having entered Dark Horse Principal Accelerator Program.

The firm said Tester built a tax and accounting practice with recurring revenue of $200,000 in slightly more than a year.

Tester joined the firm and the accelerator program in May 2023 after having served as a financial controller for SMC East from January 2022. Prior to that, he worked for eight years 10 months at RSM US, spending the last nearly four years as a tax manager at the firm.
