Montpas joins XCM after spending slightly less than 13 years with Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting. He was most recently director of strategic alliances and vertical strategy for that company, a position he assumed in September. Before that he was director of sales operations from March 2014 through September 2015. He began his career as a senior accountant at KPMG, where he had a focus on auditing.

XCM's major product area is web-based workflow applications, including Workflow for Firms and Workflow for Corporations and it offers XCM Mobile and XCM Portal that work with those applications. A sister company, Xpitax, markets tax outsourcing services while Xpitax Accounting has similar services in the accounting space.
