Sanjay Baskaran, TaxActSanjay Baskaran, president of TaxAct, has resigned his position. Blucora, TaxAct’s parent company, said this week Baskaran resigned immediately for personal reasons but will assist in the transition through August 1.

The terms of both his resignation and assistance are under discussion. Baskaran joined TaxAct in January 2017. He replaced JoAnn Kintzel who left in 2016 and is now CEO of Procare Software.
