Veteran ADP Sales Exec Retiring

Ed Flynn, ADPEd Flynn, who headed ADP’s sales efforts from 2011 through 2017, is retiring. The company said during its recent Investors Day that Flynn’s plans led it to change jobs of a number of executives. The position of president of global enterprise solutions, Flynn’s most recent title, will not be filled. Flynn had worked for ADP since September 1988.

That changes means ADP has the chance “to really streamline and flatten the organization by going back to the org structure that we had several years back that was flatter and, I think—leaner,” CEO Carlos Rodriguez said during the Investor’s Day Webcast.

Deborah Dyson, president of national accountant services, and Don McGuire, president of international employer services, will now report directly to Rodriguez. Stuart Sackman, previously VP of global product and technology,  has moved into the job of VP of Global Shared Services, which opened up with Dyson’s move. McGuire was previously president of EMEA operations from June 2016 through last month.

Serving as chief human resources officer for five years, Dermot O’Brian became chief transformation officer with this year’s reorganization. Don Weinstein, who took over Sackman’s job as  VP of global product and technology, was previously, chief strategy officer.
