Former Block CEO's Pay Up 22.6%

In his last year on the job, William Cobb, the recently retired CEO of H&R Block saw a 22.6-percent rise in compensation. Cobb, who left on July 31, was given slightly more than $8 million for the year ended April 30, up from $6.6 million the year before. The company reported its executive pay for fiscal 2017 to the SEC recently, with a list that is rapidly changing.
