Intuit is introducing QuickBooks Live Tax next month. Based on TurboTax, the service offers small businesses to preparer and file 2023 taxes from within QuickBooks Online.
Users will have what Intuit says is “unlimited access to live experts,” through the advisors that have been involved in TurboTax Live. Intuit also offers access to expert to QuickBooks Live.
The latest program is the latest move against relying solely on offering DIY products to customers.
“As we expand the QuickBooks Live portfolio, our focus is shifting toward providing more assisted services (do-it-with-me),” according to a post by Ted Callahan, director of partnerships and strategy.
The new service is designed for small businesses based in the United States—Sole Proprietors, Single-member LLCs, S Corporations, Partnerships, and Multi-member LLCs that use QuickBooks Online.
Callahan wrote that costs, which vary by entity and service type, start at $169 with payments required when taxes are filed.
