Drake Launches Online Tax Package
Drake Software has introduce Drake Zero, an Internet-based tax preparation application, which offers multi-site licensing and pay-as-you-go return preparation. Each return includes as many state returns as needed, as well as e-filing and printing.
The company says prior-year returns can be uploaded for conversion with the ability to pull forward W-2 and other dependents each time a new return is created after a conversion. The system supports refund options, such as prepaid Visa cards, direct deposits or checks printed in the office. Drake Zero also offers Client Status Reports that track which returns are ready to e-file, have been accepted or need follow-up.
