Compensation for Wolters Kluwer chief executive Nancy McKinstry remained virtually unchanged in 2009, although the company, parent to CCH, has decided to give three top executives raises in their base pay for 2010. MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - A continuing explosion in the sale of desktop versions of TurboTax fueled a 10-percent growth in the number of units of the tax preparation software sold by Intuit through March 13. The number of Web units sold rose by 20 percent over the same point in tax season 2009 as sales of desktop units dropped by 2 percent.
