Blackbaud has named Pascale Harvie as president and general manager of its European operations. She was previously the nonprofit software company’s managing director of consumer solutions for Blackbaud Pacific.

The Sage Circle of Excellence Accounting Awards have been launched to honor accountants and bookkeepers in the United States. The software company said this month it will accept nominations until August 8 at 11:59PT in five categories.

The Internal Revenue Service is warning taxpayers with cryptocurrency holdings to report income and pay taxes on transactions. The IRS said by the end of August more than 10,000 taxpayers will receive letters warning them to take action if they have previously failed to report income from such transactions.
