Sage has introduced the Sage Business Cloud, which it describes as a set of Internet-based products. The company said the suite, whose capabilities range from small business accounting and through advanced financial management, is available in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.

The announcement said core products, which include accounting, financials, enterprise management, people, payroll, payments and banking, is "designed to meet the complex needs of every company. " The company said users will be able to access a marketplace of add-on applications to fill their particular business needs.

Sage also said the platform utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning.

"Artificial Intelligence is already helping us in our everyday lives by reducing the burden of administrative tasks and enhancing the performance of the workforce," said Kriti Sharma, the company's VP of artificial intelligence.

Sage Business Cloud will be rolled out globally throughout this year and 2018.
