Abila, the former Sage Nonprofit Solutions, has named four resellers to its first-ever President's Circle. The award winners are McGovern Consulting Group, NonProfit Technologies, JMT Consulting Group and NP Solutions. The group will be formally recognized next week at the company's first user conference, Forward Together 2013.

Jennifer Warawa, who was led the Sage Accountants Network, has been promoted to head the new Sage Accountants Solutions. The new group is focused more on accounting professionals than on Sage products, says Warawa, now VP and general manager of the new group.

The Accounting Firm Operations and Technology survey has been launched by Randy Johnston, president of the Network Management Group, and Leslie Garrett, CEO of the Insight Research Group. The survey, open through November 30, is designed to gather previously hard-to-find data about the technology accountants are using in their practices.

Thomson Reuters has taken steps that should prevent the recurrence of a problem that affected cloud applications last week. The company says authentication problems shut out users of its Virtual Office and SaaS products for several hours on Friday, October 25.
