The application calculates projections based on the income, asset and market approaches, enabling  valuators to produce a value from each approach and weight these according to the type of valuation being performed.

Quickfinder Tax & Financial Tools, a comprehensive set of calculators, worksheets and financial tools designed for local tax and accounting firm practitioners, aims to bridge the gap between tax preparation software and tax research products. The system includes  Individual Income Tax Planner/Calculators to estimate a client's taxes for 2013 and/or 2014 or compute quarterly tax estimates.

TaxAct has made its business tax modules available for download for the first time. The company rolled out preview versions of its Federal 1065, 1120 and 1120S Editions, earlier this fall. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based company is also offering line into state business tax forms as part of its D-I-Y line for small business.
