Sage has announced an affiliate program for Sage One its online low-cost accounting program. The program is designed to enlist accountants and resellers in marketing the product that was introduced in the United States in May.

A decline in bank product revenue and in tax publishing countered 4 percent organic growth in tax and accounting software for Wolters Kluwer's Tax & Accounting operations for the first half ended June 30. The result for the parent of CCH was flat organic revenue for the North American operations while a decline in high-margin bank product revenue at the company's Small Firm Services cut into the EBITA margin.

People are doing more with cloud computing than just talking about it. With Internet-based applications becoming more widely accepted, cloud applications are rapidly becoming must-have office products and not just the latest technology hot topic.
