Thomson Reuters has spelled out the pricing for its SaaS for the CS Professional Suite this past week at a strategic update at the Dexter, Mich., headquarters of the unit that markets products such as UltraTax and WriteUp CS. And the pricing, which hadn't been previously published, shows just how the concept of what software is and how it will be sold is changing as applications go to the Internet.

Payroll processing giant ADP is readying the lauch of moble payroll applictions for its Run payroll system in the September quarter with the intention of supporting all mobile devices including the iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Android. The company is already in putting together pilot projects for small and mid-market customers.

CCH has been able to get its tax and accounting customers to nearly double their spending on the company's predicts over the last three years. That figure emerged in a question-and-answer session that followed the report of 2009 financial results by the company's parent Wolters Kluwer last month.
