Liberty Tax eked out a small profit and increase in revenue for the year ended April 30 despite management turmoil. The company promises to have its Form 10-K and 10-Qs for two quarters in 2018 and one in the current fiscal year filed with the SEC by October 31. 

Intuit has made a limited release of QuickBooks Online Advanced. The company said recently the new product represents a step up from QBO Plus, which can support up to 25 users.

OnBalance Express, a cloud-based accounting application, is designed for very small businesses.The recently introduced product from Thomson Reuters focuses on organizations for whom traditional small business accounting is too much software.
