Revenue for GetBusy, parent to the SmartVault document management line, rose to roughly $4.2 million in the United States for the year ended December 31. That was up 23 percent for recurring revenues in constant currency.

The company was formed in 2017 so last year was its first full year of operations. Figures for 2017 represent operations while GetBusy, which also owns the Virtual Cabinet line, was still a part of its Australia-based parent Reckon.

Without elaboration, GetBusy CEO Daniel Rabie said, “We made a wholesale change to our entire sales team at the beginning of the year …” The company reported it put additional resources into its marketing efforts. It also completed the migration of both document management packages to Amazon Web Services during the year.
