Doc.It, which makes document management, workflow, document storage applications, has issued a new release of the Doc.It portal. The updated version provides the ability to preview PDF and Office documents in the portal.

Also enhanced is the PBC (prepared by client) feature set. This is a list of requested documents to support quarterly or annual tax filings, or an audit, which can be rolled forward to the next period. Clients can ascertain which documents are required and view the current status of their submissions.

The portal site is offered as a branded digital entryway for accounting firm clients. The portal is included in the Doc.It Suite and is also available in the streamlined Doc.It Connect, a document management and portal system.
