Cloud software vendor Gusto plans to expand its accountant program. It intends to do so with the recebt addition of Mike Triantos as head of partner development.

Tax professionals can earn credits for qualifying courses about data security and identity theft topics. The Internal Revenue Service said recently it has expanded its recognition for educaton credits from only courses covering federal tax preparation, federal tax updates, ethics and representation.

Rod Drury, CEO of cloud software vendor Xero, plans to sell 3 million shares in the New Zealand-based company. The deal is pending at $31.50 per share (New Zealand) and worth about $65 million.
