Rippling Expands EOR Program 2

Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those

On the heels of its hot initial public offering, Bill.com has signed an agreement for a new corporate headquarters. The newly public payments software company has leased about 131,801 square feet of office space from US ER America Center 4 LLC for its future executive offices, according to documents filed with the SEC this week.
Avii Receives Funding
Avii says this week it has received its first external funding from Blue Diamond Capital. The software company, which makes the SaaS-based Avii Workspace platform for the tax and accounting business, did not disclose the amount.
Axcess Knowledge Coach Debuts
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has introduced CCH Axcess Knowledge Coach. The company notes this is the first audit module in its cloud-based Axcess Suite and is built on the ProSystem fx Knowledge Coach software.

Doc.It, which makes document management, workflow, document storage applications, has issued a new release of the Doc.It portal. The updated version provides the ability to preview PDF and Office documents in the portal.
OfficeTools Cloud Debuts
AbacusNext has launched OfficeToolsCloud, the latest of its practice management applications. The software company this week said the product is designed to enable tax and accounting firms to manage their offices from a single software package.
Bill.com IPO Price Above Estimates
Bill.com went public this week selling more 1 million more shares than originally anticipated at a per-share price above raised estimates. The offering price was $22 per share, up from an original estimate of $16 to $18 per share last week and a raised estimate of $19 to $21 per share the day before the IPO.
New CPA License Model Proposed
A new CPA licensure model has been proposed by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and the American Institute of CPAs. The organizations plan to finalize an approach to the new model by next summer with a multi-year implementation to follow.
QB Live Setup Available this week
Intuit said this week its QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping Setup is available for purchase on QuickBooks.com starting December 10. The software company said there is a one-time set up fee of $50 for setup.
Wave Chips in $10.9M for Block 2Q
Wave contributed $10.9 million in revenue for H&R Block for the second quarter ended October 31, Block said this week. It was the first complete quarter for Wave, which was purchased by the tax services company on July 1, and it represent a 40-percent increase in revenue over Wave’s year-earlier results.
Canopy: New Funding, CEO, Focus
Canopy has secured new funding, hired a new CEO and emphasized its plans to development practice management software. And the company this week said its plans for marketing a tax preparation software package are delayed, not cancelled.
