Rippling Expands EOR Program 2
Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those

Centenal Tax Group, based in Folsom, Calif., has acquired six bookkeeping and tax firms in California. Centenal also named Zachary VandeKamp as CEO and said it plans to buy four more firms.
BBD Adds NFP Partner
BBD, a Philadelphia, Pa.-based accounting firm, has hired Brian Page to work in its Not-For-Profit Group. BBD says it serves more than 250 NFPs in the the Delaware Valley and Mid-Atlantic areas.
Checkpoint Engage PCR Debuts
Thomson Reuters has introduced this week Checkpoint Engage PCR (Preparation, Compilation and Review). The company says the new product “provides consistency in both documentation and process”.
ADP Enhances DataCloud
Automatic Data Processing has enhanced the ADP DataCloud, its workforce analytics platform. The payroll services company said this month improvements include an improved user experience.
McKinstry Supports Quotas for Women Execs
Quotas are necessary to increase the number of women in management, Nancy McKinstry, CEO of Wolters Kluwer, said in a recent interview in a newspaper in the Netherlands. In the interview, she backed government-mandated quotas as the only way to improve the pace of the appointment of women in top roles.
H&B Names Five Partners
Hutchinson and Bloodgood has named five new partners. The appointments were made in several practice areas in the accounting firm's offices throughout California.
H&R Block Picks 10 VPs
H&R Block has named 10 vice presidents in what the company said was a move to pick new and rising talent to transform the organization. The executives were appointed in several operating areas of the tax services company.
Several were named in marketing: Angela Davied in corporate communications; Angela Meika Geisenn, media and channels; Tom Nolan, client experience; and Margaret Ostrowski, financial products and partnerships,
VPs promoted in human resources were Laura Klopatek, corporate human resources, and Sarah Wiltse, total rewards. In the United States retail segment, new VPs are Darren Haddock, Block Advisors; and Bill Lanza, in the retail west, market.
And the other VPs named were William Self, data science and analytics, finance; and Kristin Slepicka, corporate systems, IT.

Paychex says it will introduced Pay-on-Demand by the end of 2019 and real-time payments early in 2020. Those are among new services the payroll services company said this week it will introduce soon.
ADP Compensation Changes Hefty
Automatic Data Processing handed out significant increases to three current and one former executive for the year ended June 30. CEO Carlos Rodriguez’s income topped $19 million, an increase of 52.1 percent from $12.5 million for the prior fiscal year.
QBO Adding Mileage Tracking
Mileage tracking is being added to QuickBooks Online. Intuit said recently the feature, available previously in QB Self-Employed, will be rolled out gradually with all users having access “in the next several months.”
