Slightly more than two thirds of CEOs see the passage of another COVID-19 stimulus package as one of the three most important initiatives for a Biden Administration. The recently released Marcum-Hofstra CEO Survey of 250 company leaders nationwide found that 45.6 percent say a stimulus bill is the top issue.
Other issues cited were assistance programs targeting small and medium-sized businesses in the form of expanded access to capital by 47.6 percent and a supportive federal procurement policies by 46.4 percent.
Policies promoting U.S.-based manufacturing were cited by 36.8 percent and government investment in infrastructure by 36.4 percent as among their top three issues.
More than half, 55.6 percent believe their business will be positively impacted by the proposed economic policies of a Biden Administration while 12.8 said the new administration’s policies will have no significant impact on their businesses; and 21.2 percent predict those policies will have a negative impact. The other 10.4 percent did not know or were unsure.
