Certify, which has been growing with the consolidation of expense management software companies, has acquired Portland, Maine-based Abacus. Terms were not disclosed for the purchase of the software company, which was founded in 2013.

Ed Flynn, who headed ADP’s sales efforts from 2011 through 2017, is retiring. The company said during its recent Investors Day that Flynn’s plans led it to change jobs of a number of executives. The position of president of global enterprise solutions, Flynn’s most recent title, will not be filled. Flynn had worked for ADP since September 1988.
