Intuit ProConnect Revs Up 14.6 Percent

Revenue for Intuit’s professional tax business for by 14.6 percent fpr the second quarter ended January 30. The revenue, which reflects sales of ProSeries, Lacerte and Intuit Tax Pm;ome, rose to $237 million for the most recently ended quarter, up from $207 million a year earlier.

 Intuit did not discuss details of the professional business as to the source of increased sales—whether new customers of a rise in price. The second quarter is usually the biggest revenue quarter for the pro tax business, although the delayed start to last year’s tax season moved a significant amount of sales into the third quarter. But the second and third quarters together in fiscal 2021 accounted for 85.5 percent of the unit's revenue for the fiscal year
