Redpath and Co. has named Ryan Everhart as managing director effective October 1. He will succeed Mark Gibbs, who has led the St. Paul, Minn.-based CPA firm since 2014.

 A Galveston, Texas, preparer who fudged a substantial number of 4,000 federal income tax returns from 2017 through 2012 must disgorge $324,432 to fees he collected to the United States.

 Xerocon, Xero’s software conference, will return to the United States next year. The event will be held August 14 to 15 next year in Nashville, Tenn.
