Intuit's Steve Blundell Dies

Steve Blundell, who worked for Intuit for 20 years, has died. Blundell, age 71, died in September after a battle with cancer. A resident of Helena, Ala., he was a well-known figure in accounting firm technology for many years.

Jim McGinnis, a former Intuit executive, has joined the Tax and Accounting division of Wolters Kluwer. McGinnis takes on the job of EVP and GM of the medium and large segment for the business unit. He will report to the tax and accounting group's CEO Jason Marx.
