Kahuna Accounting was named Accounting Partner of Year for 2016 and Beyond Balanced Books was selected by Bookkeeping Partner of the Year by Xero this week. The cloud software held its awards event at Xerocon, its annual conference, in San Francisco. Xero also rewarded application vendors that link to its software.

services slowly. Instead, resist the urge to spend more time strengthening client relationships before pitching them financial services. Accounting firms with the largest percentage of financial services clients do not delay in cross-selling to them.

Intuit is setting out its plan for importing 10 tax forms into its cloud-based ProConnect Tax Online (formerly Intuit Tax Online). The company has made import available for the 1099-INT, 1099-Div and 1098 forms. The others will be ready by the end of this year.
