Paychex new SVP of sales has left the position after five days on the job. The payroll services vendor said that Rebecca F. Bernson resigned the position for personal reasons on June 6. Bernson, who most recently worked for rival Automatic Data Processing, started the job on June 1.

Thomas Reuters says it plans to sell its $450 million healthcare business that provides provides data, analytics and performance benchmarking solutions and services to companies, government agencies and healthcare professionals. The company says the step is being taken to concentrate on core markets.

The National Society of Accountants has launched a self-study Registered Tax Return Preparer Exam Review Course. The course is designed to enable those who must pass an exam from the Internal Revenue Service in order to demonstrate competency in preparing fedral tax returns.
