Jack Lynch, a member of the Wolters Kluwer executive board, is leaving the company to take a job as CEO of a U.S. company. As a member of that board he has been one of the top three executives of the parent of CCH. Lynch joined the company in 2006 and became a member of its executive board in April 2007.
H&R Bock, which last month said it would slash its presence in Sears, has decided to sever the relationship completely. In a end-of-the month filing with the SEC, the Kansas City, Mo.-based tax services chain made a brief, but clear statement about the end of Block locations within Sears stores. That came as rival, Jackson Hewitt, announced a new agreement with the retail company.
