Sage Going on Road to Hear Accountants and VARs

DENVER - Sage North America is starting a 14-city tour in July to listen to accountants, customers and resellers, according to Jennifer Warawa, director of partner programs. Billed as a listening tour, the program is one of a number initiatives by Sage as it works to revitalize its Sage Accountants Network program. Those initiatives include including the accountant network members to its Insights conference, now underway here.

BNA Study Find States Cautious on Internet Nexus

ARLINGTON, Va. – Despite the drop in sales-tax revenue, only three states, New York, California and Rhode Island have enacted “Amazon-laws” that say in-state affiliates of online vendors have established sales tax nexus. However, another 17 states say if the affiliate is paid less than $10,000 a year, an Amazon-top arrangement with an in-state affiliate would trigger Nexus, according to the 10th Annual BNA Survey of State Tax Departments.Most Read
