Logitech is Putting Extra Displays EVERYWHERE

I saw dozens of add-on type mini-displays at CES this year. They are already fairly cheap (many were priced around $129) and most are USB powered. Looks like a pretty convenient way to leave a certain Web site (weather?) open all the time.
It’ll be interesting to see how they get used. Logitech was showing a gamer keyboard with a little 2-inch by 3-inch display -- the color GamePanel LCD shows game stats, system information, communication data, video playback, image slideshows, or other information, without leaving the game. It seemed to be a solution in search of a problem to me, but it sure did draw a crowd. Go here to watch the video.

Intuit Puts $ Where Its Mouth Is, Offers 'Stimulus Grants' for Firms

Intuit is awarding grants of $10,000, plus $10,000 in free products and services, to 10 tax and accounting firms, in hopes to “give them a boost to hire and invest in their businesses and thus get more done.” The campaign is centered around the tag line “get more done.”

We have established a tradition of hosting a dinner sometime during CES
It seems to be the one time of the year that most (or at least many) of the Dream Team are, 1) All in the same place, and, 2) Relatively available. We all seem to see each other periodically throughout the year but most often we’ve schedule slammed and rushing to another class, meeting, or airport. And it’s usually only two or three of us.
