New tools have been added to ADP DataCloud to ascertain the diversity of their workforce. The ADP DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Dashboard and Organizational Benchmarks help businesses identify any groups which are under-represented via a question-and-answer format.

Elmer J. Whiting Jr., the first Black partner of a Big Eight accounting firm, is the latest subject of a profile by the Black CPA Centennial. Whiting became a partner in the former Ernst & Ernst when it merged in his practice in 1971.

The Black CPA Centennial is honoring Mary T. Washington Wylie, who became the first female Black CPA in 1943. The Centennial this year is a collaborative effort of the AICPA, Diverse Organization of Firms, Illinois CPA Society, National Association of Black Accountants, and National Society of Black CPAs.
