Sage is putting an increased emphasis in working with the American Institute of CPAs and the state CPA society to promote its Sage Accountants Network. The effort includes a greater presence at shows and sponsorship of the events.
That includes what was termed a "more than year-long engagement with the Maryland state society," says
Jennifer Warawa, VP of partner programs and channel sales for Sage North America. Warawa says Sage did not exhibit at the main show of the Maryland Association of CPAs this year, for example. But that is going to change as the effort to promote SAN moves in the new direction.
And in general, the team managing SAN is going to be getting our more. "We have invested in more face-to-face events," says Warawa. "It's a whole lot of getting out on the road and meeting the firms."
Membership in SAN enables practitioners to take advantage of Sage resources that are increasingly focusing on running their firms and not just in exposing them to Sage's products.
