Veteran ADP Sales Exec Retiring

Ed Flynn, who headed ADP’s sales efforts from 2011 through 2017, is retiring. The company said during its recent Investors Day that Flynn’s plans led it to change jobs of a number of executives. The position of president of global enterprise solutions, Flynn’s most recent title, will not be filled. Flynn had worked for ADP since September 1988.

Krista Endsley, who headed Sage’s former nonprofit software business and later Abila, has become president of Cantata Health. Based in Hauppauge, N.Y. Cantata also hired Jonathan Isaacs as CEO at the same time Endsley joined.

Crowe has named Justin Bass as the accounting firm's first chief data science officer. The Chicago-based accounting firm (known as Crowe Horwarth until this week) also created a data science business unit, which employs more than 20 data scientists.

Dan Wernikoff, the EVP who has led Intuit’s Consumer Group, is shifting roles. CEO Brad Smith said during this week’s earnings webcast that after Intuit ends its year on July 31, Wernikoff will move into a role working with Smith on strategic projects.

Sanjay Baskaran, president of TaxAct, has resigned his position. Blucora, TaxAct’s parent company, said this week Baskaran resigned immediately for personal reasons but will assist in the transition through August 1.
