Avalara has introduced two applications that are designed to enable retailers and ecommerce companies to automatically collect sales tax exemption certificates at point of sale kiosks and online shopping carts. The new products are Avalara CertCapture for Retail and CertCapture for ecommerce.

The American Institute of CPAs has created a Not-for-Profit Section. The section will provide support and resources in the area audit, financial accounting and tax for members and other professionals who serve the nonprofit market.
