The "mobile payment" revolution has been heralded for some time, but as close observers know, those big promises have not yet produced major changes in how consumers pay for most retail goods.

Teresa Mackintosh has been named CEO of CCH Tax & Accounting U.S. A former executive with Thomson Reuters, Mackintosh joined the rival tax and accounting vendor in April 2012 and become EVP/GM, Software, CCH Tax & Accounting North America in January 2013. She was most recently president of CCH U.S. Software.
CCH's Bergstein Goes to Intuit

David Bergstein, CPA, CITP, a long-time manager at CCH, has taken a position with Intuit. Mostly recently director of strategic relationships for CCH, Bergstein joined Intuit as cloud consultant. He joined the company in June 2004 and is the latest in a number of tax and accounting veterans who have left the tax and accounting giant.

CohnReznick, a New York City-based CPA firm, has selected Ed Mason as a principal and the firm's national sales director. Co-CEO Tom Marino said Mason's arrival fits with the firm's plan to develop a national sales organization.

John Tysseling, formerly chief economist for the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department, has joined Moss Adams. Tysseling has become a consulting director in the accounting firm's Albuquerque, N.M., office with the goal of expanding the scope of the firms advisory services.
